Fresh Ideas for the Northcoast

What a Green Manufacturing Mill could do for our local forests.
Freshwater Tissue Company acquired the Samoa pulp mill in February 2009. For economic reasons, the previous owner closed the mill in October of 2008. Freshwater intends to convert the pulp mill into an integrated tissue mill, producing eco-friendly toilet paper for U.S. regional consumers. It will consume by-products and tanoak logs from the Coastal Redwood Region. We believe our vision is environmentally and economically sustainable.
We hope that you will take the time to read our business plan in its entirety, and to view this video of Bob Simpson, President of Freshwater Tissue Company, communicating his vision.
